Our Top 10 hottest men of the 2016 Eurovision

It hasn't been long since the 2016 Eurovision ended officially (mention when it ended). This is the time fan bloggers rack up some charts, information, comparison, contradiction, what not.. In short, this is the time we flock the  trending gossips together in our write-ups. For now, I will start (and possibly end) with the top 10 hottest guys to perform on this year's sophisticated eurovision platform.

Let us start with number 10, and save the best for last..

10.Denmark's Joe of Lighthouse X

The smallest Scandinavian state managed to send a trio filled with hotties and Lighthouse X's Joe is one of them.

9.Sweden's Frans

His name might sound like a country but he could be considered as one of the hottest ones this year as he has that typical Swedish charm. Frans is considered one of the youngest contestants this year, participating at the age of 17.

8.Lithuania's Donny Montell

The long awaited four-year comeback informed fellow fans that it was worth the wait, as he seems to be manlier than ever.. He's still got the charm like 2012 and undoubtedly succeeded in captivating the audience..

7.Søren from Denmark's Lighthouse X

We have another one from Denmark who has that typical Scandinavian charm. His vocals are amazing and he's also smoking hot.

6.Hungary's Pioneer aka Freddie

This pioneer is one of the sexiest singer of the contest and with no doubt his charm had succeed in bringing him to Eurovision. Besides that, his manly structure could make people fall for him easily.

5.Netherland's Douwe Bob

The classy and sexy style of Douwe seems to attract myriads and is all they see in this year's Dutch singer. Winning votes by charm, eh?

4.Denmark's Martin Skriver

Martin seems to outshine the other two in the trio. With his blonde hair and charming smile, he actually has the potential to rob the hearts of many fans.

3.Estonia's Jüri Pootsman

Mesmerizing blue eyes full of charm, accompanied by his deep voice, motivates many ti hit play in his tracks.. The Baltic beauty also has that killer smile everyone expects.. What more can one want?

2.Latvia's Justs

He's as talented as Aminata and we must say that his Baltic charm managed to rob the hearts of many fans. It has also been speculated that he seems the hottest one out of the Baltic boys.

1.Russia's Sergey Lazarev 

Excitement rings at the very mention of his name. It brings me honor is claiming Sergey Lazarev the hottest man in eurovision 2k16. His manly characteristics blend with his enchanting voice creating the aura that we seek, and so we crown him the apex securing the number 1 position.

Though it was short, we now close having throned the beautiful men in this year's eurovision. We all agree that this year was as magnificent as it could get. Now we round off in this cliché dialogue "like,  comment, share" and feel free to convey anything. Thank you.. Well thats our list of the hottest guys of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

Croatia wins the Barabara Dex award

It hadn't been long since Ukraine's win and we finally found another winner, which is the winner of the Barbara Dex award which is also known as the worst dressed award and we must say that Ukraine's win wasn't surprising. Nina Kraljic won with her costume inside out, which is a weird kimono like outfit which turns into a bizarre structured dress which has an uncanny patterns on every part of the costume.

A description about the first outfit, is that it looks like a wannabe kimono with peculiar branch like patterns on translucent cloth which has a collar with a quirky design. Her hair had waves in the back which might represent the sea whilst her kimono might represent the ship which is sailing towards the lighthouse.

After a while, her coat was then removed and it transformed into a dress which looks really odd and who knows that it denotes the lighthouse that the ship has been looking for. Well, Nina's dress was unique inside out but we need to call the fashion police as there is a fashion crime going on. Her outfit inside actually looks like ruffles which are randomly pasted on the edge of the long cloth on the arm part with something that looks like feathers on the long sleeve which is not done in a proper way so it needs to be neatened up.

Overall, Nina still manages to throw a stunning performance with her angelic voice despite the fact that she was wearing an uncanny eccentric dress which seems to have metallic fabrics, ruffles or feathers placed in an uncanny manner.

The crimes of the 2016 Eurovision

If we have to be honest about this year's Eurovision, then we should consider it as an unpredictable one and the results had proved on how hard id the level of the competition is. The unpredictable results, had caused many crimes in this year's contest and let's discuss some of the crimes of that had happened in this year's contest.


Greta Salome didn't hear Iceland being called to the Grand Final

This one, could be considered a really shocking one, as it wasn't just predicted to qualify but it was also predicted to give Iceland their first victory. Unfortunately, she didn't qualify despite the fact that she owned the stage with her stunning performance. With no doubt, this is one of the biggest crimes of this year's contest and another surprising thing is the fact that she only finished 14th in her semi-final.


Juri Pootsmann finished last 

Estonia was actually predicted to shield their previous placing in this year's contest, surprisingly he did not just finished last in his semi-final but he finished last in the whole contest. It could be considered as the bigeest crime as his performance was truly amazing and he managed to own the stage, besides that he was a favorite of many fans.

Agnete failed to help Norway in the frozen water

"I'll be you're ICEBREAKER, when you're stuck in frozen water", it is one of the most popular phrases in Agnete's song. She is another shocking non-qualifier as she seemed to be predicted to qualify. Unfortunately, she failed to bring Norway to the grand final and she only finished 13th. 


Kaliopi failed to go to the final

Another crime happened to a return artist and it is Kaliopi who came from the same year with Greta Salome. Her return was as delightful as a a delicious doughnut for many fans but she failed to qualify by receiving 11th in her semi-final which was really close to qualifying. Her performance was truly wonderful when she sung the masterpiece and this is another crime as it is favoured by many fans. 

Germany finished last in the contest AGAIN

Once again, Germany received the last place that they didn't deserved and it was truly shocking as it had actually succeed in topping the charts. Her performance was actually unique with the harajuku theme and the mysterious aura  but with no valid reason, she managed to surprise us by being on the bottom right of the scoreboard which did surprise the fans.


Czech Republic received nul points in televoting

Well,this one is really surprising as it was also a favourite to do well in the grand final but it managed to surprise us by not receiving any points in the grand final. Czech Republic might break their streak of  not qualifying but recieving nul points in the televoting was a big crime as she made a stunning performance during the grand final.


Well, thats some of the crime that had happened in the contest and they were truly shocking as no one expected it. Besides that, countries like Greece and Bosnia had broke their streak of always qualifying which is another surprising fact even though Bosnia nearly qualified. If there was less crime, then the contest wouldn't be that hard but due to the tough competition, many crimes occured this year.

The craziest and coolest 2016 Eurovision stagings

It hadn’t been long since Jamala’s victory in Eurovision and we must say that Sweden had an astounding stage this year. From the stage itself, we could see that many countries had thrown wonderful and breathtaking performances with special effects that could be considered as out of this world. As usual we had creative and innovative machines such as pyros, smoke machines, wind machines, lustrous LEDS and unique technologies like holograms. In this article we will show you 5 performances with the craziest special effects or acts.

Russia serves us a moving LED wall

Sergey’s performance could be considered as the coolest one, with moving LED walls and with Sergey ascending up the “stairs” which had unknowingly appeared on the walls. The performance was truly brilliant and Sergey seemed to enjoy the performance despite the fact that he had to stay energized whilst focusing on his moves. The complicated performance seemed to amaze everyone and that could be a reason for him to win the televoting.

Belarus’s Ivan with his shape shifters

Before the real live began, Ivan was rumored to perform naked with real wolves on the stage. On the good side, it didn’t happen for the whole performance but instead it happened during the opening of the performance which is still a bad thing. That itself was totally bizarre but he managed to proceed with the performance by using shape shifter in the form of him playing different instruments. Unfortunately, his performance did not stand out as well as the other competitors and caused him not to advance to the grand final.

Armenia’s Iveta Mukucyan takes over the stage with her waves of special effects

Out of every performance in this year’s contest, we must say that Armenia managed to slay with a lot of special effects. It started with pyros, and then carried on with other special effects as she delivers the waves of amazement to the crowd. The holograms during the instrumental part astonished the crowd and managed to keep our interest due to the wondrous technology. With no doubt, the special effects succeed to bring Armenia to the grand finals.

Iceland’s Greta Salome hears them calling in the ‘woods’

Greta did bring the same staging from Iceland to Stockholm, the staged looked like the woods in a cartoonish manner and her vocals were totally impressive. She made a good use of the LED walls and floors and was very energetic on stage. The part where she suddenly disappeared and return was truly amazing. It was actually surprising when we know that she didn’t qualify, as her live performance was performed beautifully.

Australia’s Dami Im feels the love through face time

Our first runner up managed to start the performance by sitting on a block as she feels her love through face time, it was actually a splendid start as the holograms helped to make it look really cool. Besides that, her dress looked stunning with glistening and shining colors and it managed to blend in with the song really well. The live did have a did have a simple start which is proceeded with a cool hologram effect and she managed to end it in a simple way, with no doubt this could be a reason for her to win the heart of the jury’s.

Well, that was some of the wondrous and craziest stagings of this year and with no doubt, this shows that Eurovision still serves us with amazing performances through its stages which changes in every edition.

Ukraine wins the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest

On 14 May 2016, Ukraine won the 2016 Eurovision with Jamala and her melancholic natured song, 1944 this means they.The historical melancholic song sung in Crimean Tatar and English had banked 534 points creating the landslide of 23 points with the first runner up, Australia. Jamala dedicates this song to her great grandmother, who could be considered as a victim of the horrendous incident in 1944.

The 1944 incident in Ukraine, was ordered by Stalin and through this song, the pain and suffering, the anguish, all boiled down to a few sententious minutes of song. Besides the fleeting screams from the latter, which had reached out to myriads, together with the meaningful few esoteric lyrics which could be seen from the part "Where is your mind?/ Humanity cries. / You think you are gods. / But everyone dies. /Don't swallow my soul. /Our souls" . 

However, despite giving Ukra, her quote at the press conference, "If you sing about the truth,it can really touch people", really showed the reason for her victory. Albeit the song had had gathered ample of controversies, many claiming it 'political', she really spoke about the truth through the Crimean Tatar parts "Yaşlığıma toyalmadım /Men bu yerde yaşalmadım " which means "I couldn't spend my youth here/Because you took away my peace" as the incident might had happened during great grandmother's youth. 

Nevertheless, history is history and this historical song talks about the humanity and how did humanity cry during Stalin's rule. Maybe the reason for this to win, was because of the truth that it speaks, the truth about the lack of humanity during Stalin's rule. Albeit the performance was simple, Jamala's vocals were totally on point yet expressive and the song had succeed in touching the heart of millions. Overall, Sweden did a great job in hosting  the show and we hope that Ukraine, will also do a great job in hosting the show next year and lets hope that peace would be found in every corners of this world.
